South East Lancashire Orienteering Club (SELOC) is an orienteering club based largely in the northern districts of Greater Manchester – Salford, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham expanding west towards Liverpool
We welcome people of all ages who wish to participate in locally organised orienteering events, as well as those who are prepared to travel further afield in order to compete at a higher level. To this end we organise monthly Saturday morning events in local parks around our area and currently hold regular club nights in Bolton and Oldham. Our club members join with local clubs SROC South Ribble Orienteering Club, MDOC Manchester District Orienteering Club and Pendle Forest Orienteers in promoting street orienteering events, and there are now weekly events throughout much of the year.
Our junior and young adult sections are developing quickly and we are keen to continue with a racing, training and social programme that appeals to all. We put on regular monthly orienteering events (last Saturday of every month) in areas in and around Bolton for both new comers and experienced orienteers. We run a Club Night every Monday 6.30 – 8pm (at Eagley Junior School in the winter and spring and then outside in local parks over the summer) for anyone to attend. You can train, improve your orienteering skills and socialise with other club members.
Monday: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am – 12:00am
